Rotary GroveFest 2023 Lights Up Downtown Downers Grove: What To Know

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Cotton candy, elephant ears, twinkling lights, live music and other fun sights and sounds will fill downtown Downers Grove for the 2023 Rotary GroveFest this weekend. The festival will run Thursday through Sunday.

Hours and Admission

Admission to Rotary GroveFest is free, but there is a $5 cover charge for admission to the beer garden and entertainment area of the fest. Visitors can buy admission to these two sections at the festival's entry gates.

June 22

5 p.m. to 10 p.m.: East and West gates, entertainment area and beer garden

June 23

12 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Businesses and food vendors on Main Street

4 p.m. to 11 p.m.: East and West gates, entertainment area and beer garden

June 24

12 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Businesses and food vendors on Main Street

12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Craft cocktail afternoon

4 p.m. to 11 p.m.: East and West gates, entertainment area and beer garden

June 25

12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: East and West gates, entertainment area, beer garden, businesses and food vendors on Main Street.

Presented by the Rotary Club of Downers Grove, Rotary GroveFest raises funds to benefit nonprofit organizations in and around the village.

Craft Beer and Cocktail Event

On Saturday, adults 21 and older can swing by the festival's 4th Annual Craft Beer and Cocktail event. The tasting will spotlight 20 breweries from the area, including:

Carnival Midway

Carnival rides and games will be set up along Main Street. Some of the carnival's more than a dozen rides include:

• Iron Dragon

Wristbands will be available to give festival-goers access to unlimited rides. The wristbands will be $33 throughout the event and $30 before the fest closes on Sunday.
