Running Car Stolen From Home In Downers Grove: Police

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove police are investigating an incident in which a running car was stolen from a home in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive. The car theft was reported on July 18.

The resident told police that they went outside to start their black Mercedes GL550 around 8:30 a.m. According to police, the car was left running with the doors unlocked and the keys inside. When the resident came back outside, they noticed their car had been stolen.
