Blackhawks CEO Helps Wheaton Pantry Prep Holiday Dinners
Blackhawks CEO John McDonough lent a helping hand to DuPage families this season.

WHEATON, IL — When some families receive their Thanksgiving meal care package from People's Resource Center, they may have no idea that the CEO of the Blackhawks packed it. Blackhawks CEO John McDonough and staff drove down to Wheaton Tuesday to help package hundreds of boxes of turkeys and trimmings for families in need.
The team's management has been volunteering with People's Resource Center for four years, according to Daily Herald. During the holiday rush, the resource center told Daily Herald it appreciates having a few extra hands (especially those with celebrity status!)
Founded in 1975, The People's Resource Center, donates food, clothing, and other essential items to more than 30,000 DuPage County residents each year. In addition to its holiday care packages, People's Resource Center provides aids with adult learning, job assistance, and other social services.
