Sam's Caribbean Marketplace
Food that you will fall in love for your Easter celebration!
Sam’s Caribbean Marketplace is located in West Hempstead, NY. It was founded on December 10, 1993, by a newly married wife and husband team, Jean and Andrew Morris. A leap of faith took over in creating their own business since they did not have retail experience. The market was named after Jean's father, who had passed away. It was in celebration of his life and love. Today, their business is the go-to spot for nearly every Caribbean food, brand, and item under the sun! For over 30 years, the family-run business have been creating a special dish with Jamaica’s simple yet iconic Easter combo; bun and cheese.
Their wide variety of sweet bread and buns has become Easter must-haves for anyone who craves a little slice of home or a new twist on their own Easter classics. Its Easter buns, loaded with molasses, cinnamon, and fruit, finding a creamy partner in Jamaican cheddar, making it the MVP of spring celebrations. Born from British influence (shoutout to the hot cross bun), Jamaica gave it an upgrade with bolder flavors and a heartwarming twist. At Sam’s, they have perfected this combo, spreading joy to Caribbean households and foodies alike.
Elevate your Easter with Sam’s Jamaican Easter Bun & Cheese. But that's not all. Sam's also offers a comprehensive collection of Caribbean brands, food, books, clothing, and other items. It truly is your all-in-one online shop for everything you could possibly need to bring the island's home with you—wherever home is!
