SUV Stolen From Apartment Parking Lot In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A red 2012 Ford Explorer was recently stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex in Downers Grove. The theft took place sometime between March 13 and March 17, according to a recent police report.

The victim told police SUV car had been stolen from the lot in the 6700 block of Woodward Avenue between 4 a.m. on March 13 and 10:15 a.m. on March 17. Police say the victim told them they usually leave the vehicle's keys in its center console.

The total loss of the vehicle was valued at $15,000.
