Telling it Forward with Rev Dr. Terry Gallagher

On June 21st, Rev Dr.Terry Gallagher will launch an amazing new resource & invites you to come along on the journey to re-imagine how we are to live. This is a ministry of Ecological Justice which uses the art of storytelling to envision the path forward to a sustainable future on this one Earth that we must share with all of God’s Good Creation.

Telling It Forward is a 30 minute internet radio program with the typical format as follows:
• Introduction
• Current news segment
• Some scripture to guide our focus for this day
• Guests that share story on how, /why you became involved in the critical issue
• What are you currently doing in response and your hope for the future
• Discussion illustrating how to incorporate one or more of the 45 Global Warming Action Tips in our daily life this week.

Why "Telling It Forward"? Because radical societal change is achieved thru the art of story-telling.

Transformative Power of Story-telling
• We are a people of stories
• Stories are the foundation and the lifeblood of our worldview/paradigms
• Our current stories filter/block what we are willing to hear, see, and consider
• Stories shape our values, systems, explain implications of our heritage and describe our vision of the future

“Telling It Forward” as a ministry whether done in person or on the web or broadcast via radio will use stories both ancient and new to convey the central radical Gospel truth that our God has called us to living a life of compassionate sacrificial love as evidenced by the ministry, teachings and life example of Jesus. This ultimately requires living sustain-ably in covenant with all of God’s Good Creation.
