Tequila Stolen, Lockers Burglarized, More: Downers Grove Crime Blotter

DOWNERS GROVE, IL —

Tires Stolen from Car in 2800 Block of Gabriella Street

Police say a man saw his car around 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 28 and nothing appeared out of the ordinary, but when he returned to the car around 1:15 p.m. the following day, he noticed the front and back tires had been stolen from the passenger side of the car.

Package Stolen from Apartment Complex in 700 Block of Maple Avenue

A man told police that he got a notification on Jan. 25 around 9:45 a.m. informing him that UPS had delivered a knife he ordered. When he got home, he noticed the package was not outside of the apartment complex, the place to which it had been delivered. The knife was valued at $316.

Items Stolen from Locker at XSport Fitness

Police say someone stole items from a locker at the XSport Fitness at 3200 Finley Rd. on Feb. 4. The victim told police the lock on the locker had been removed and $80 cash, a debit card and a credit card were missing from his wallet.

Items Stolen from Locker at Planet Fitness

A gym client reported that items were stolen from their locker at the Planet Fitness located at 2055 63rd St. on Feb. 4. According to police, someone had removed the lock from the victim's locker and that a debit card and three credit cards were stolen from a wallet inside the locker.

Liquor Stolen from Binny's Beverage Depot

Four bottles of tequila were stole from Binny's Beverage Depot, 2020 Butterfield Rd., on Feb. 4 around 8 p.m. Police say employees reported that the man stole the tequila and refused to stop when asked by staff. He then got into a Kia that had been running and fled down Butterfield Road.
