Thief Nabs Customer's Phone At Verizon Store In Downers Grove: PD

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A customer's new iPhone was stolen while they were having it set up at a Verizon store in Downers Grove, police say. The incident took place Sept. 16 at the Verizon store located at 6238 Main St.

A store employee told police they were helping a customer with their new iPhone just after 8:15 p.m. when a man walked into the store. Police say the man looked around the store and then approached the employee's desk, grabbed the customer's phone and fled on foot.
