Churches are an excellent vehicle to add solid volunteer opportunity on your resume and many positions are paid if you are looking for employment. Christian education provides such necessary building blocks for the future when believing in something greater, establishing your talent and creating meaningful support for the entire family. First Congregational United Church of Christ in Downers Grove youth program does just that in helping young singers build strong voices. Young actors and actresses can be involved in the youth drama program that teaches pantomime, improvisation and characterization. Those who love to play instruments have wonderful opportunities to share during worship on selected Sundays.
