Westmont Man Charged With Stealing Electronics From Home
Police say Nicholas Prehn, 24, of the 3900 block of North Adams, stole more than $4,000 worth of electronics from a home he was staying at.

WESTMONT, IL — A Westmont man faces multiple charges after police say he stole more than $4,200 in electronics from a home where he was staying. Nicholas Prehn, 24, of the 3900 block of North Adams Street, was charged with theft and resisting arrest in connection with Friday's incident.
Police say Prehn was a guest at a home in the 100 block of South Oak Avenue when he stole "numerous electronics" before leaving the house. According to Westmont police, they were at the scene the next day when Prehn returned and fled upon seeing the officers.
Prehn was found and taken into custody shortly after. He is being held in DuPage County Jail on $1,000 bond. Prehn is set to appear in court on May 15.
