Winning $10K Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold In Downers Grove
A lucky player won $10,000 on a Mega Millions ticket they bought at a business on Ogden Avenue.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Mega Millions Lottery ticket that won $10,000 was recently sold in Downers Grove.
The lucky player bought their ticket at Powmaro's on Ogden Avenue, according to a news release. It was among seven winning tickets bought in Illinois for the Jan. 13 drawing, including a $1 million winning ticket that was purchased in Evanston.
The mid-January drawing saw the Mega Millions jackpot at a record-setting $1.348 billion, which was won by a lottery player in Maine.

For selling a winning ticket, Powmaro's will receive one percent of the ticket's prize amount.
