• Man charged in fatal metro-east sports bar shooting arrested, indicted (bnd.com) — An East St. Louis man has been indicted on first-degree murder and weapons charges in connection with an Aug. 31 shooting at BB's Sports Bar & Grill in Cahokia Heights that killed an East St. Louis resident. Authorities say he was on the run for nearly two weeks before being arrested and ordered held in St. Clair County Jail pending trial.
