Elgin Academy Offers Drivers Ed Classes

Joyce's Driving School, (a state certified driving school owned by Elgin Academy alumni, Joyce Orlowski '81 Younger) will offer teen driver education courses and behind-the-wheel training at Elgin Academy in the fall. The after-school, fee-based program will consist of 15 two-hour classroom sessions (one per week) along with individually scheduled appointments for driving practice. The instructor will be Elgin Academy Upper School teacher, Susie Howe.

Classes will begin January 10 but students can sign up for classes up to three weeks into the session. Future sessions for Summer 2019, and beyond will be planned. For more information and to register, click the link (select Elgin Academy as your location option).

Students do not have to attend Elgin Academy to sign up for the classes. Elgin Academy is located at 350 Park Street in downtown Elgin.
