Hamilton Dance Team finishes second at Midwest competition (gmtoday.com) — A regional high school dance competition held in Elgin earlier this month saw Hamilton High School's "Chargerettes" take Large Varsity runner-up while winning top honors in Hip-Hop and Jazz. The event brought teams from across the Midwest to Elgin, highlighting the city's role as a host for major youth arts competitions.
