ELMHURST, IL — Three battery incidents have happened in recent days in Elmhurst. Here is information from the reports:
- A domestic disturbance happened Thursday night in the 500 block of East Park. A woman told police she was thrown around by a man and was unable to call 911 at the time. The man denied battering the victim. The woman reported the incident the next morning. Because of conflicting statements, no arrests were made.
- A woman told police Thursday that her son had been battered by a suspect about 5 p.m. Thursday at Skate Park at York Commons, 665 S. York. The suspect then entered a car and left the area. The suspect told an officer that the other person had been antagonizing him, leading him to push the other person away. An investigation continues.
- A domestic disturbance was reported as happening about 9 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Cedar Avenue. A woman told police that a man pushed her after she grabbed him. The man, however, said that as he attempted to leave, the woman grabbed him. He said he pushed the woman, so she would release her grip. The woman did not wish to pursue charges.
