Backpage Escort Pepper Sprays Hotel Guest After He Changes His Mind

A man reported that he had been pepper-sprayed by an escort with whom he had arranged a date on Backpage, reports said.

Elmhurst police responded to Extended Stay at 550 W. Grand around 1:23 a.m. Oct. 25. A guest there told police that he had contacted a female escort through Backpage to come to his room.

He decided to call and “cancel” the service, but the escort arrived anway, police said.

The man let her into this room to wait for a ride. During that time, police said she made sexual advances toward him but he declined.

Police said the woman tried to take the man’s wallet but was unsuccessful. She then pepper-sprayed him.

The guest said he was able to push her out of his room. She was gone by the time police arrived, reports said.
