Bensenville Raises Over $13K to Help Fire Victims
Bensenville has presented a check for $13,915 to the Bensenville Community Foundation to support the 16 families affected by the fire.

BENSENVILLE, IL – A fire in Bensenville last month claimed one person's life and displaced several families living in an apartment complex off of Marshall Road. The village of Bensenville has now presented a check for $13,915 to the Bensenville Community Foundation to support the 16 families affected by the fire.
The fire swept through the 3-story apartment building, destroying the roof and multiple units. According to the village, funds were raised by a program initiated by Village President Frank DeSimone called Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
“It’s truly humbling to see the entire community step up to support the families involved in this tragic incident. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this initiative,” DeSimone said in a release.
