Conroy Holds Holiday Food Drive
Conroy's office to serve as drop off point for food drive to local pantry.

State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, is holding a holiday food drive to benefit the Disciples Food Pantry in Villa Park.
“During the holiday season it is important to be mindful not only of our own blessings but also of those who are less fortunate,” Conroy said. “Whether it is by donating time, money or food items, it is easy to find a way to give back during this holiday season.”
Conroy is collecting non-perishable food items, including canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, cereal and peanut butter. Items can be dropped off at Conroy’s constituent outreach office located at 28 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations at Conroy’s office will be accepted through Dec. 16. Collected items will be donated to the Villa Park Disciples Food Pantry, which serves more than 800 individuals from DuPage County each month.

“The holiday season is about uniting as a community and being mindful of the needs of others,” Conroy said. “Every donation counts, and sometimes the smallest gestures of kindness can make the biggest difference.”
