CVS Employees Robbed At Gunpoint, Medication And Cash Stolen
Three men forced employees to the back of a CVS in Elmhurst and stole medications and cash, police said.

ELMHURST, IL — Employees at the CVS Pharmacy at 110 W. North Ave. in Elmhurst were robbed at gunpoint in the early morning hours of July 29. Elmhurst police say the three thieves, all armed with handguns, forced the employees to the back of the store and had them open the safe before leaving with several controlled substance medications and an unknown amount of cash.
Police officers came to the CVS at 2:50 a.m. that day and heard from witnesses that three "young looking" black men wore hoodies and came into the store with handguns before forcing the workers to the back. The pharmacist was forced to open the safe, and one of the gunmen took an undetermined amount of controlled substance medications and currency.
The first suspect was described as being in his late teens. He was wearing a white tank top, red shorts and a white t-shirt around his neck that was pulled up to cover his face. The second is also believed to be in his late teens, wearing a white/gray/black Nike hooded sweatshirt with black pants with vertical stripes down the legs, possibly an Adidas brand. The third also in his late teens with a grey/red hooded sweatshirt, white pants and black shoes.

No one was injured in the incident.
