D-205 Superintendent Gets More Vacation Days
The district decided to keep official's contract change under wraps, unlike other documents.

ELMHURST, IL – The superintendent of Elmhurst School District 205 is getting more vacation time under a change to her contract.
On Wednesday, the district released the amendment to Superintendent Keisha Campbell's agreement. She is set to receive 25 vacation days a year, instead of 20.
She also can now carry over 10 days of vacation from one contract year to the next. Her original contract allowed her to carry over five.

The board approved the contract amendment at its meeting Tuesday. Patch obtained the amendment through a public records request.
Unlike other documents on the board's agenda, the district decided to keep the amendment under wraps from the public. It has not explained why, although it appears to apply such secrecy for personnel-related records.
Last year, the district chose not to post online an agreement for an $800-a-day outside consultant. After a controversy, he pulled out of the contract.
