District 212 spring art exhibits April 23, 24, 25

District 212 is hosting art exhibits at the East and West campuses on April 23, 24, 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

An evening reception for the artists will be held at each campus on Monday, April 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students are invited to bring friends and family to the evening reception.

Artwork by Leyden students, as well as that of students in partner schools, will be on display. The shows include drawings, paintings, prints, graphic design pieces, pottery, photographs, and sculpture.

The West Leyden Spring Art Exhibit will be held in the school’s auditorium lobby, 1000 N. Wolf Rd., Northlake; and the East Leyden Spring Art Exhibit will be held in the Little Theater, 3400 Rose St., Franklin Park.

Flight of the Bees by Shakty Granados is an example of the artwork that will be on display at the spring art exhibits scheduled for April 23, 24 and 25 at both the East and West campuses. The exhibits are free, and open to the public.
