Elmhurst Driver Recording Another Is Thrown To Ground: Police
The victim was recording another driver's tinted windows and lack of a front license plate, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving battery, a stabbing, domestic battery, damage, a dog bite and a disturbance. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Battery
- A 29-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of St. Charles Road on charges of battery, improper window tinting and no front license plate. Police said the victim recorded the man for having tinted windows and no front license plate. The man then confronted the victim by throwing him on the ground and tossing his phone back into his car, police said. The suspect was released.

- Maximo Lunasorio, 32, of Chicago, was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, violation of an order of protection and domestic battery. He was accused in connection with a May 22 incident at Portillo's, 155 S. Route 83. Police said the man, who belonged to a cleaning crew, stabbed a co-worker who was also his domestic partner and then barricaded himself. Lunasorio was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Domestic battery
- A 26-year-old Mount Prospect man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bella Terra Elmhurst nursing home, 420 W. Butterfield Road, on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A resident in the 100 block of West Vallette Street told police that someone came to his house asking to give an estimate for work on his driveway. The resident believed he was targeted as a victim of a potential burglary. Nothing was reported stolen. An investigation is pending.
Damage
- A woman told police that she believed her ex-stepfather damaged the tire on her car about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Schiller Street. An officer was unable to contact the suspect. An investigation is pending.
- Several words and symbols were scratched into picnic tables at Van Voorst Park in the 300 block of East Crescent Avenue. Police received the report Tuesday.
Dog bite
- A woman riding on a bicycle was bitten on her calf by a brownish-orange poodle-like dog that ran after her about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Elm Park Avenue. An investigation is pending.
Disturbance
- A customer upset over service done by Ed Napleton Acura, 727 W. Grand Ave., caused a disturbance about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. An officer gave the person a no-trespass notice.
