Elmhurst Man Arrested Again Days Later: Cops

He re-entered the home of the person he battered last week, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested a number of people. Here is information from the Elmhurst arrest log:

Bail bond violation

  • Miles Henry, 28, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of North York Street on a violation of a bail bond. Last week, he was arrested at the same place on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Henry struck someone else in an argument. They said he violated his bail bond by re-entering the victim's home. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail for both arrests.

  • Fred Gianneschi, 68, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 8 p.m. Tuesday at Park and Boyd avenues on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. He was released on bond.
  • Silver Ayodele Edosio Jr., 23, of Villa Park, was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday at York Street and Crescent Avenue on charges of DUI and conspiring with intent to deliver any document known to be altered or forged. Police said they found Edosio slumped over the wheel. They said they later found Edosio had six forged $20 bills and four forged $10 bills. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Brian Murphy, 51, of Oak Brook, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Monday at Jackson Street and Spring Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and speeding. He was released on bond.

Warrants

  • Rojus M. Malik, 22, of Broadview, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Monday at North Avenue and Route 83 on a Granite City warrant and charges of disobeying a stop sign, having a suspended registration and having no insurance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Steve McCarthy, 59, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday on a Will County warrant. He turned himself into the Elmhurst police station. He was released on bond.
  • Javonte Brown, 27, of Westmont, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Monday at Villa and North avenues on a DuPage County warrant and charges of driving with a suspended license, expired registration and failure to signal when changing lanes. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Juan Diego Gaitan-Hernandez, 21, of Villa Park, was arrested about 11 a.m. Wednesday on a Lisle warrant. He was released to the Lisle Police Department.
