Elmhurst Middle Schools Provide Relief For Houston Schools, Hurricane Harvey Victims
District 205 middle schools are all fundraising to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

ELMHURST, IL — The three middle school student councils of District 205 are all fundraising to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas. According to the district website, nearly 50 Houston Independent School District schools have been flooded to some degree, with some schools being used as shelters.
The middle schools have three ways you can help Houston students:
- The Houston schools have a need for children's clothes in all sizes (clean and in reasonably good repair) and school supplies. You can bring donations to Bryan, Churchville or Sandburg and the schools will send them to Houston for you. If you prefer to send items directly, they can be forwarded to: HISD Harvey Recovery, ℅ Delman Stadium, 2020 Mangum, Houston, TX 77092.
- Drop off a monetary donation of any amount and the schools will forward funds to the Houston Independent School District Foundation.
- The HISD Foundation has set up a special to provide assistance to their students and families. To read more about their effort and/or make an online donation, visit their website.
District 205 middle schools are: Bryan Middle School, Churchville Middle School, and Sandburg Middle School.
