Elmhurst School Raises Money for Caps for Kids
Bryan Middle School in Elmhurst participated in Cap Day on March 15, and raised $650 for Caps for Kids.
ELMHURST, IL -Bryan Middle School in Elmhurst participated in Cap Day on March 15, and raised $650 for Caps for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving caps signed by athletes and celebrities to children battling cancer.
The district said students and staff were encouraged to donate $1 to the organization and wear a hat of their choice on Cap Day. Members of student council planned the fundraiser, had all students watch a video explaining the fundraiser, collected money and gave stickers to everyone that donated.
