Police Searching for Suspects in Elmhurst Yoga Studio Robbery

ELMHURST, IL - Three male suspects in their late teens entered a yoga studio in Elmhurst and stole money from the cash drawer, police said. Elmhurst Police are investigating a diversionary theft that occurred at 6:50 p.m. May 1 at Yoga by Degrees, 1042 S. York St.

Police said the three suspects entered the business and asked to use the bathroom. While the attendant was distracted, one of the suspects opened the unlocked cash drawer and removed an undetermined amount of money. All three then exited the business and fled southbound on foot.

According to police, all three suspects are male, black and in their late teens. One suspect is 6'0" with a thin build and wearing dark jeans, the second suspect is 5'8" and wearing a sweatshirt with a purple hood and dark jeans, and the third suspect is 5'8"-5'10" and wearing dark jeans.
