Grief support groups offered in Naperville, Elmhurst
Edward-Elmhurst Health offers free daytime and evening Grief Support Groups to anyone 18 and older who is grieving the loss of a loved one.

Coping with the death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult and challenging experiences a person will face. For help in those difficult times, Edward-Elmhurst Health offers free daytime and evening Grief Support Groups to any community member 18 and older who is grieving the loss of a loved one.
Daytime Grief Support Groups meet from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Wednesdays at Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL, in the Education Center; and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, Elmhurst, IL, in the Willow Conference Room, lower level.
Evening Grief Support Groups meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday at Edward Hospital, in the Education Center; and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the first and third Monday of every month at Elmhurst Hospital, in the Maple Conference Room, lower level.

Chaplains facilitate the programs and first time attendees are welcome to bring a guest. There is no fee or registration required.
The confidential sessions are held year-round. Participants are welcome to attend either group for the period of time grief support is needed. The sessions, grief resources and refreshments are free. First-time participants are invited to bring a guest. No religious affiliation is required.
