Here's How Often Elmhurst Aldermen Show Up
This week, the City Council saw perfect attendance for the first time in months.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst City Council on Monday saw something relatively unusual – perfect attendance.
All 14 aldermen showed up for the meeting. That's the first time since May 1.
The council has seen perfect attendance for three of its 14 regular meetings since January. For the remaining 11, at least two were missing from nine of them.

The Jan. 3 meeting was the high point for absences, at four.
Aldermen Brian Cahill and Jacob Hill have the most absences so far this year, at four each. Emily Bastedo and Mike Brennan are at three.

Those with perfect attendance this year are Marti Deuter, James Nudera, Michael Bram and Rex Irby, though Bram and Irby took office in May.
Aldermen also attend committee meetings twice a month, where much of the work gets done.
