It's Official: Elmhurst Has New Park
The sign is up in an area of town that was once known as a "park desert."
ELMHURST, IL – The sign is up for Elmhurst's newest park – Pick Park.
Nearly a month ago, Elmhurst Park District got word that it was receiving $340,000 from the state for construction at the park.
The park is at 151 Monterey Ave. in the only Elmhurst neighborhood west of Route 83. The area was once considered a "park desert."
