Lincoln Elementary Holds STEaMFEST

ELMHURST, IL — Lincoln Elementary will hold STEaMFEST 2018 on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. for kindergarten through second grade and on Thursday, March 1 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. for grades 3 through 5. According to the district, the theme of this years event is "Did You Ever Wonder? Marvels in Nature..."

The district said Lincoln students will be conducting the following experiments: Tornado in a Bottle (they get to take it home), Cloud in a Bottle, Homemade Thermometer, Reversing Images in Water, Making Rainbows to Reflect on the Ceiling and Sunset in a Glass to See Different Wavelengths.

There will also be a table exercise where they will work on disappearing glass. The event will begin in the gym for a 5-minute intro before dismissing to the classrooms.
