Longtime Elmhurst Alderman Won't Run Again
He is planning to seek another local elected office in April's election.

ELMHURST, IL – Ward 2 Elmhurst Alderman Bob Dunn said Thursday he plans to step down after a dozen years.

On the park board, he said he would focus on building an indoor sports and recreation facility, refreshing other facilities and expanding program alternatives for families.
In June, Dunn ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary election for the DuPage County Board District 2 seat.
Dunn joins two other longtime aldermen who have said they are not running again – Ward 3's Dannee Polomsky and Ward 6's Michael Honquest.
As of Wednesday afternoon, no one has filed to run for Dunn's Ward 2 seat.
