• Someone Sneaks Into Elmhurst House, Steals Wallet: Cops (patch.com) — Elmhurst police recently responded to a string of incidents, including a burglary where a wallet was taken from an unlocked South Hawthorne Avenue home and several DUI arrests at local intersections. Officers also handled a domestic battery at Bella Terra Elmhurst, a gun and drug arrest on North Michigan Street, retail theft at the North Avenue CVS, and other theft and property damage reports.
