Residents Meet 'Chicago Fire' Actors After Filming in Elmhurst

Fans snapped photos with actors Taylor Kinney and Randy Flagler.

Elmhurst resident Becky McMahan loves the NBC television show “Chicago Fire,” so when she heard the crew would be filming Tuesday in the city, she and her mother, Denise McMahan, went to check out the set.

It paid off big time.

As the cast and crew started to leave toward the end of the night, Becky and Denise saw actors Taylor Kinney, who plays the flirtatious Kelly Severide, and Randy Flagler, who plays Capp.

“Everyone started waving to them,” Becky said. “They both walked over and let us all take pictures with them! They could not have been nicer!”

Filming for “Chicago Fire” was originally scheduled to take place April 7 and 9, but last week’s storm forced a cancellation of the second day of filming. Production was then rescheduled for April 14.
