Sandburg Students Create Kindness Week Campaign
The eighth graders at Sandburg Middle School have created a "Kindness Week" Campaign.

ELMHURST, IL — The eighth graders at Sandburg Middle School have created a “Kindness Week” Campaign. The district said the students wanted to spread kindness all over the school by hosting a spirit week and coming up with different acts of kindness to go along with the themes for each day.
The Kindness Week will be held April 30 through May 4, and students will wear 'Pay It Forward' bracelets as a reminder to keep passing kindness wherever they go. The district said the students' goal for the school is to try and get 50 bracelets passed around the school in one week in hopes to remind people to remember to be kind to one another.
Each day, the students will also dress up in a different theme and there will be an act of kindness for each day:
