Stormwater Work To Help Area Of Elmhurst: City

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst plans to start work this month on a project that the city says is critical for stormwater relief efforts.

The project consists of upgrades to the McKinley stormwater pump station, which is along Maple Trail Woods Park in southwestern Elmhurst, according to a city news release.

Excavation and expansion of the existing station are set to start this month, with the equipment to be installed next year, the city said.

During construction, access to Maple Trail Woods will be limited at the project site, according to the news release.
