Vis Kids Want to Help

Visitation's Student Council organized a donation collection for the relief efforts in Puerto Rico after two devastating hurricanes.

Elmhurst, IL— Visitation’s Student Council organized a donation collection to help with hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico which took place at school on Tuesday, October 3rd. Part of the Visitation mission statement is to “serve others as Jesus did” and by reaching out to the Vis community, students were able to help serve those in need, just as Jesus did. Visitation Catholic School raised $500 in one day to help those in Puerto Rico who are in need. This money will be sent through Catholic Charities to help in the areas needed most.
