Visitation Hosts Their 5th Annual Catholic High School Night
Visitation hosted six local Catholic High Schools and invited all 6th-8th grade families to come and learn more about these great schools.
Elmhurst, IL- On Monday, September 25th, Visitation hosted their 5th annual Catholic High School Night. This event took place in the Valentino Center from 7-8:30pm with six local Catholic High Schools represented: IC Catholic Prep, Nazareth Academy, Fenwick High School, Montini High School, St. Ignatius College Prep, and Trinity High School. This night was open to all 6th-8th grade families. Visitation principal, Dr. Dransoff, told 6th grade families, “it’s not too soon to be thinking about the options available for high school, even now in 6th grade.” Dr. Dransoff is a strong advocate for Catholic High School education which is why he started hosting the event 5 years ago. Parents and students were able to come and enjoy the informal atmosphere of being able to visit the various schools at their tables. School reps showed off what their school has to offer as far as academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities. Families asked great questions and gathered materials that will assist in their decision-making. A highlight from this night is seeing the many Vis alumni that come and help represent their Catholic High School and share their personal experiences.
