Woman Arrested In Attack After Elmhurst Crash: Cops
In other cases, people were charged with domestic battery, DUI and underage drinking.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police charged people in cases involving aggravated battery domestic battery, underage drinking, DUI, trespassing and driving violations. Here is information from the reports:
Post-crash attack

- Kia D. Eskew, 30, of Arlington Heights, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Charles and Berkeley on charges of aggravated battery to a person over 60, aggravated battery on a public way and improper passing of cars going in the opposite direction. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Eskew was arrested after a traffic crash. Patch filed a public records request for this incident.
Domestic battery
- Miguel Meyo, 23, of Aurora, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Grand Avenue on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, a woman told officers that Meyo slapped her and pushed her.
Underage drinking

- Two 18-year-olds, two 19-year-olds and one 20-year-old were cited about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Oak on charges of underage drinking. One of the 19-year-olds was also cited on a charge of hosting a party where minors consumed alcohol. They were released on bond.
DUI
- Brittany Lee, 31, of Wood Dale, was arrested about 9 a.m. Sunday at Robert Palmer and Marion on charges of DUI, endangering the life of a child, possession of a switchblade, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and violation of child restraint regulations. She was released on bond.
Trespassing
- Kirk Nelson Jr., 33, of Chicago, was cited about 10 p.m. Saturday at North and Glade on a charge of criminal trespassing to property. He was released on bond.
Driving violations
- Juan Zamora-Ibares, 27, of Chicago, was cited at 7 a.m. Thursday at North and West on charges of no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond.
- Lee Coleman, 24, of Elk Grove Village, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Lake and West on warrants and charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to give information after striking property. In the same incident, Bethany Dixon, 34, of Elk Grove Village, was arrested on warrants and a charge of possession of a controlled substance. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Coleman and Dixon were seen leaving the site of an accident in which a car struck a concrete barrier.
