Yelling Woman Damages Car At Elmhurst Store: Cops
In another case, an Elmhurst resident is again cited for loud noise, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of criminal damage, domestic battery and DUI. Here is information from the latest arrest log:
Criminal damage
- A 20-year-old Oak Lawn woman was arrested about 7 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive, on a criminal property damage charge. A man told police that the woman yelled at him as he was walking into Walgreens. The man found a scratch mark on his car after he returned. Police said surveillance video shows the woman doing the damage. She was released.

- A 65-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 700 block of South Saylor Avenue was cited about 11:30 p.m. Friday at his house on a charge of loud noise. Police have repeatedly cited the man on the same charge, with neighbors complaining about loud music.
Domestic battery
- A 52-year-old Arlington Heights man was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday at Elm Creek Apartments, 5 Elm Creek Drive, on a domestic battery charge. Police said a man pushed the door a woman was leaning against, causing her to fall to the floor. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- A 21-year-old Addison woman was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Grand Avenue and Lake Street on charges of DUI and speeding. She was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 34-year-old Mount Prospect man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at North and Villa avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was taken to the police station and released.
- A 24-year-old Harvey man was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of open alcohol by a driver and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was taken to the police department and then released.
- A 36-year-old Villa Park man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, possession of open alcohol and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police department and released.
