York High School Names 22 National Merit Commended Students

22 members of York Community High School's Class of 2018 were named as National Merit Commended Students.

ELMHURST, IL — The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently named 22 members of York Community High School’s Class of 2018 as National Merit Commended Students. The NMSC recently revealed the names of approximately 34,000 Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Program.

Students at York recognized for their exceptional academic promise are: Max Albers, Catherine Ayers, Timothy Baer, Nicholas Carrasco, Eric Doberstein, Corey Elliott, Ella Glabus, Brian Goldberg, Nathan Harris, Grant Hartlage, Colin Kelley, Martin Kelty, Ashley Kunesh, Linda Nguessan, Michael Pastuovic, Zorian Schiffman, Emily Schlect, Tyler Sidoryk, Siva Sreedhar, Daniel Sussman, Emma Tran and Anita Wary.

The school said a letter of commendation from the NMSC was presented by York High School Principal Erin DeLuga to each of these outstanding students.
