• Alders to vote on $1.5 million sale of 801 Main (evanstonnow.com) — Evanston's City Council is set to vote Monday on selling the city-owned 801-809 Main Street parcel for $1.5 million to developer CityPads, paving the way for new apartments, townhomes and ground-floor retail. The proposed project would bring 64 apartments, 15 townhomes and 12 on-site affordable units, but still must clear the city's zoning and planned development approval process into next year.
   

• Zoning contract and development votes lead packed City Council agenda (evanstonroundtable.com) — Evanston's City Council meets tonight with a packed agenda that could reshape zoning rules, greenlight major housing projects, and decide funding for a long-delayed accessible ramp to the Dog Beach. Councilmembers will also weigh a costly zoning-code rewrite, a youth sports facility on Green Bay Road, and whether residents or the city should shoulder rising credit card fees for parking and utility payments.
