• Alders to vote on $1.5 million sale of 801 Main (evanstonnow.com) — Evanston's City Council is set to vote Monday on selling the city-owned 801-809 Main Street parcel for $1.5 million to developer CityPads, paving the way for new apartments, townhomes and ground-floor retail. The proposed project would bring 64 apartments, 15 townhomes and 12 on-site affordable units, but still must clear the city's zoning and planned development approval process into next year.
