Anne Sills Appointed to District 202 ETHS Board
Regional superintendent made the selection after board had been deadlocked.
Anne Sills has been named to fill the remainder of Bill Geiger’s term on the District 202 Evanston Township High School board of education, Evanston Now reports.
The final decision came down to Regional School Superintendent Bruce Brown since the board itself was deadlocked (3-3) on whether to appoint Sills or interview the other 14 candidates who had applied for the position. Brown announced the decision Tuesday morning.
In April, Sills finished fourth in an election for three open board seats.
