Looking for a free summer activity for elementary-aged kids?
First Presbyterian Church of Evanston is hosting Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School (VBS), a weeklong morning program for kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.
It runs Monday–Friday, July 27–31, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1427 Chicago Avenue, and it’s completely free.
Each day includes a mix of games, music, crafts, and interactive lessons, all built around a fun rainforest theme. It’s designed to be a welcoming, structured environment where kids can have fun, meet other kids, and enjoy something a little different during the summer.
All families are welcome—no church background or membership needed.
Advance registration is required.

Coming your way is Happy Lobster! We’re bringing some of the freshest lobster rolls + other delights to you on Wednesday, July 29th, so don't miss out.
The delicious lobster-focused menu has the city’s favorite lobster roll, of course. Order it traditional or spicy! Add on some crab cakes, clam chowder, and dessert!
Make sure to order by 10am on Wednesday. Your order will be available for home delivery from 2:30-6:00pm.
If you won't be home, please be sure to leave a cooler out to keep your meal as fresh as possible.
