Last summer, the ETHS Boys Basketball team was motivated to make an impactful statement about the injustices faced by the Black community by painting “Black Lives Matter” along Dodge Avenue in bold yellow text in front of the high school.
Honoring the section of Dodge Avenue in front of ETHS as “Black Lives Matter Way” will serve as a reminder for community members to strive for continuous improvement in order to one day achieve a just and equitable society.
