Harmonizers to perform at local Farmers' Markets

The North Shore Harmonizers, an independent women's a cappella chorus in the barbershop style, will perform at 10am on Saturday, September 10, at the Evanston Farmers’ Market on Maple Ave., adjacent to the parking garage. The chorus will also sing at Glenview Farmers’ Market on September 24. Both concerts will begin at 10am.

This lively concert will feature a mixture of songs, many from Broadway, such as “Consider Yourself” from Oliver, and familiar favorites including “Takin’ a Chance on Love,” “Moonglow,” and, of course, “In the Good Old Summertime.” So, stop by while you stock up and enjoy the music.

Founded in 1952, the Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers' markets during the summer and fall.
