Evanston Man Killed in Rogers Park Monday

The 39-year-old was shot in the neck and found lying in a gangway.

CHICAGO, IL - A 39-year-old Evanston man was killed late Monday night after being shot in a gangway in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood.

Police responded to the 6400 block of N. Rockwell around 11 p.m. and found Johan Jean lying in the gangway, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Jean, of the 100 block of N. Ashland in Evanston, was shot in the neck and pronounced dead at Presence Saint Francis Hospital before midnight.
