Evanston Man Suspected Of Selling Drugs At Care Facility
According to Evanston police, drug sellers targeted residents at a residential care facility in the city.

EVANSTON, IL — Police arrested an Evanston man suspected of selling drugs to residents at a care facility this week.
In late 2025, detectives with the Evanston Police Department began investigating reports of drug sales in the city involving people linked to a street gang.
During the investigation, authorities were told that several individuals were selling drugs to residents of a local residential care facility. Some residents were being targeted as part of the drug activity, detectives said.

On Monday, detectives carried out an enforcement operation in the area of Howard Street and Western Avenue in Chicago. During the operation, they apprehended a suspected drug dealer, identified as 37-year-old Andre Williams.
After the arrest, detectives served a court-approved search warrant at a home in the 7200 block of North Wolcott Street in Chicago. Authorities recovered 30 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 38 grams of crack cocaine and $463 in cash. They also seized one vehicle.

The Cook County State's Attorney reviewed the case and approved felony charges of eight counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
