EVANSTON, IL - Demonstrators from all over the country, including Evanston, came together in droves Tuesday night to call for the removal of the president of the United States from office.

More than 500 people braved the chilly weather at Evanston's Fountain Square to support Donald Trump's impeachment ahead of the House's historic vote. Holding anti-Trump signs in the air, protesters, young and old, chanted "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Donald Trump has got to go," and “No-one is above the law."

Trump is accused of abuse of power, stemming from his efforts to get Ukraine to investigate the son of former Vice President Joe Biden Jr., Hunter Biden, in return for foreign aid. He's also accused of obstructing Congress by blocking testimony and refusing to provide documents to lawmakers as part of the impeachment inquiry.
