Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Evanston
The robber got away with more than $300, according to police.

Evanston police are investigating a Friday night armed robbery in which a man was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Lyons Street.
Evanston Now reports the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. The robber, a black man wearing black clothes, held a handgun in his left hand as he forced the victim to turn over more than $300, mostly in $100 and $20 bills. He also had a scar on his face.
